Sat Sept 5….decent but funny story!

From Capt Johnny.. A nice trip today. Slow start and then a pick on nicer size haddock nice cusk and a few nicer pollock. Some fishermen had 5-6-7keepers. Some had none. We started a drift Geno got stuck on the bottom. His hand sore and swollen. He got pricked by a redfish last week. The pole slipped out of his hand off to the bottom of the sea. Maybe 5 minutes later a guy reels up and has Genos rod. We pulled the line up and on the hook is a giant cusk. Geno is ? Decent mack bite. Few spots got plenty and a few spots got none. Lots of schooly striper! Sunday and Monday are tight but rest of the weekdays are open. Come catch a COD!

Fri Sept 4….hot then cold

Report from Capt Johnny Haddock were flying over the rail for the first ten minutes. It was hard to keep up with them Then just a slow pick on haddock reds pollock and cusk the rest of the day. Pretty good size cusk. Decent amount of macks. Schooly stripers all night long….

Extended morning trips are still slaying and the bass trips are full of action ( small yet mighty). Sept 8 opens COD SEASON. Wont exactly feel like the old days as you can only keep 1 ( has to be 21 inches) but will make for a more exciting pool.
