Thursday June 11 ALL TRIPS CANCELLED

HIGH WINDS. We have attempted to call everyone.

Monday June 8 fish report

I wrote a brilliant post and somehow deleted it so heres the cliff notes. Slow start on Northern with Capt Pete at the helm for the marathon 6am-6pm. Definitely not a haddock slam but Ralph said it picked up and everyone was happy. Cusk were caught too and they make a mean chowder. Tomorrows ( Tuesday) all day boat leaves at 7am due to the tide. Half day and extended half day Thurs,Fri,Sat and Sun Capt Cory has been doing great on his night bass trips Mon,Wed,Fri,Sat and Sun. See you bright and early! April

SUNDAY JUNE 7 all day/ half day report

From Capt Johnny on the White Star.. “Good morning bite haddock cod cusk mackerel and a decent afternoon bight and the sea calmed and the sun came out ?” Half day on the Northern Star was slow this morning with only a few mack, hadd, pollock. This afternoon was SLIGHTLY better. Few macks and reds. 3 spots left on Monday marathon but Monday nights bass trip is open. Book online now!

Sat June 6 – Good and fair fishing

White Star had a great day. Love this pic of TEAM RED. Steady haul all day. Northern Star was a little slower with an average of 3 haddock per person. Room on half day Sunday and night bass trip. Lets go fishing April

Fri June 5….mixed reviews

I polled a few people today. “Fair fishing”, “slow to steady pick”, and from a crew member- “IT SUCKED.” There were a few haddock per person and a haddock did win the pool It was a slow morning thats for sure. Waiting on half day and striped bass report. All day this weekend is sold out. I have some half day spots for both morning and afternoon trips on Sunday. As far as what we are fishing for on the half day boat… It is SUPPOSED to be mackerel. Tough to find, never mind catch so its a mashup trip of mack, bottom fishing and if no luck there- flounder and/or striper. Will keep you updated as I know some of you ONLY want mackerel and some of you want anything but mackerel. Beach restrictions are lifted so hopefully we can…

Thurs June 4…. all day/half day update

A lot of newbies on the all day boat and our regular GINO had the high hook as he limited out on haddock(15). Everyone else had about 3-4. Consensus was almost good fishing. The morning half day and afternoon were slow. Report later. April

Wed June 3…. all day and night striper

I actually didnt get an official all day fish report except that it started off fair and then picked up. So no numbers but a few repeat customers today so must not have been a complete fail. Night striper trip was a blast. Not a lot of keepers (have to be 28 inches) but A LOT of action. Lots of schoolies and sore arms! All day is selling out about 4 days in adavance. For our complete schedule including all day, half day and night fishing- click BOOK NOW! Stay safe everyone! April

Tuesday June 2 fish report….great day!

Man this season less than 3 weeks in has had its ups and downs. Capt Randy had the Cora Beth for the all day trip today and it was a great day. Everyone had at least 10 haddock. With the exception of the weekend all day trips, our all day has plenty of room. Half day has opening Thurs and Sunday Night bass trips are filling up fast! Book now. April

Monday June 1- THE FISH ARE BACK!

Great day on the Northern Star. And boy did we need it after the last few says. 13 people got their limit of 15 haddock per person and the rest at least had 10. Capt Pete got the job done with a 2 hour ride to find those fish. Jax was stil fileting well after the boat hit the dock. Back at it again tomorrow. 3 spots left on tomorrow’s all day trip. Book online tonight as Im hitting the hay. 430 am comes quick. See you guys in the morning. Be safe. April

Sun May 31……SLOW fishing

Half day today wasnt a failure…lets start there. Few haddock, few macks and a nice group of fishermen for both trips. Lots of families with kids. With that said, if you are literally heading out on the ocean for the very first time- stay away from the all day boat until mid June when the ocean calms down. At least if you feel seasick on the half day boat, you can start doing an internal countdown 2 hours in. All day is slow. Hoping things pick back up this week! Weekday line up Marathon 6am-6pm Monday. Still spots to book online or show up by 540 am to ensure you get on. Tues- all day Wed- all day, half ,night bass Thurs- all day, half, night bass Fri -all day, half, night bass Things are starting to look normal down…

SATURDAY MAY 30….mix of haddock and DOGS

Well…it seems a little early…but heavy dogfish on the all day boat. At least there were some haddock per person. Average 3-4.Fishing 180-220 feet. Calm ocean today… Sunday morning all day and morning half day is SOLD OUT. Half day has started out slow this year with a slow mix of everything. But this just in…all different types of flounder this afternoon. Room on Sunday pm trip. Night bass fishing is fair. Few schoolies. Nothing exciting yet but a little action. You know…we got our first complaint today. An email stating that we said we were limiting out everyday and that he knows how to fish and that he only got six so hes going elsewhere. First of all, we WERE limiting out everyday. In fact, the whole coast was. And then…we werent. And he was on that boat the…

Fri May 29….the fish are there…not biting

Slow all day trips. Disappointing but weather was good. A little rough the last couple of days. Going to lay down today. Still waiting for half day report but I imagine its the same since noones called in… Heading different directions on all trips today so will keep you updated. All day Sat and Sun May30/31 is sold out. Half day is sold out Sat morning. Ironically, Sunday afternoon half day is wide open so check that out. Night bass trips filling up fast. Great new addition.
