Capt Johnny on the White Star says the dogs were savage today but they worked through them and got a few nice haddock.  And it was a beautiful day on the water. 2 hour night trip had macks, a few Pollock and perch!

So Capt Johnny said it took them a while but it ended up being an almost pleasant day with a few haddock on board. And on the plus side…. NO DOGS!

So many haddock. A lot limited out ( new regs 15 per person) Huge cusk as well.Some fishermen said it was the best trip ever. Pictured below, in no particular order LOL are 2 of my favorite fishermen showing off. *** Your favorite spot may be taken, but all Monday marathons have room on them…

Great day on the White Star. I saw everybody getting off. Didnt look like anyone got 15 ( the new bag limit) but heavy bags full of filets and smiling people. And they got off just in time because the sky opened up and forced our night boat to be canceled. Some people were mad about that. Almost wanted to take them out with the white caps in the harbor. FYI WE DO NOT LIKE TO CANCEL. WE NEED THE MONEY…. Mack’s are really biting. Fun,fun trip for newbies, kids and a great way to make memories. Tons of trips this week. Haddock limit increase to 15 per person effective immediately!!!

Excellent all day trip today with Capt Johnny on the White Star. Didnt hear of too many people actually limiting out but between 4 and 6 per person. Half day and all day Sat July 6 is sold out. Room on night boat Sunday has a few spots on all trips. Whale watch was fantastic today. Everyday we leave at 130 with the exception of Monday. A lot of shorts today. If you stuck with it got a couple KEEPER ( right at 17 inches) HADDOCK. Macks are here! Great trip for kids…. This is our superbowl weekend so definitely give yourself time to get here. Traffic is crazy!!!  

Fyi. We never exaggerate our posts. If the fishing sucks…we will let you know. Today was the opposite of suck. Most limited out on haddock and some nice cusk mixed in there. Seagulls following the boat makes for happy fishermen!

Capt Johnny was quoted as saying that today was one of the best all day fishing trips in a while. Plenty of haddock to go around and some big cusk thrown in there too! Sailing 7 days a week 8-5 with most weekends sold out so book online or call asap! We are slaying the mackerel on our half day trips too!!! Tomorrow Monday  July 1 Marathon 6am-6pm. A few spots left. According to Capt. Johnny on the all day, it has been consistently TOUGH fishing. Gotta work for those keeper haddock. Go figure the nice cod( can’t keep them) are coming up. The half day boat has been slaughtering the macks! Night fishing 630-830 except Sunday and Monday. Marathon this Monday 6am-6pm. 5 spots left.
