A lot of shorts today. If you stuck with it got a couple KEEPER ( right at 17 inches) HADDOCK. Macks are here! Great trip for kids…. This is our superbowl weekend so definitely give yourself time to get here. Traffic is crazy!!!

Fyi. We never exaggerate our posts. If the fishing sucks…we will let you know. Today was the opposite of suck. Most limited out on haddock and some nice cusk mixed in there. Seagulls following the boat makes for happy fishermen!
Fish report June 30
Capt Johnny was quoted as saying that today was one of the best all day fishing trips in a while. Plenty of haddock to go around and some big cusk thrown in there too! Sailing 7 days a week 8-5 with most weekends sold out so book online or call asap! We are slaying the mackerel on our half day trips too!!! Tomorrow Monday July 1 Marathon 6am-6pm. A few spots left. According to Capt. Johnny on the all day, it has been consistently TOUGH fishing. Gotta work for those keeper haddock. Go figure the nice cod( can’t keep them) are coming up. The half day boat has been slaughtering the macks! Night fishing 630-830 except Sunday and Monday. Marathon this Monday 6am-6pm. 5 spots left. So you know how they say a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work? Let’s keep saying that over and over and forget that the tide today was AWFUL and according to Ralph- THE FISH HAD LOCKJAW Tomorrow THURSDAY in for coast guard Fri June 21 all day Sat June 22 all and half day sold out but room on afternoon whale watch and night fishing Sun June 23 all and half day am sold out BUT PM HALF DAY just added! Monday June 24 all day AND marathon both a go!

Ok. So the bait fishermen were out of luck today. Had to put the work in and throw a jig and a fly on to catch a haddock. Steady pick all day. All day wide open Tues,Wed,Thurs Half day Wednesday just added 8-12 and 130-530. Mack’s ARE HERE. Just hope they bite…

So the White Star dealt with tide issues but Capt Johnny knows how to work in any situation so most anglers had between 4 and 6 haddock. The Northern Star had a SLOW steady pick all day. Nothing to write home about. Tomorrow FATHERS DAY. All morning trips SOLD OUT. Few spots on PM mack trip. April
Wed June 12 fish report and more!
So the fishing was good….and then it wasnt. According to our fishing veteran Ralph, heavy bite until noon….then crickets. Most anglers still had between 4 and 6 haddock. Moving forward. Surprisingly Friday June 14 all day boat still has 7 spots. This Fathers Day weekend shows our all day is sold out both days. Spots left Sunday pm half day. All day 7 days a week. Limited half day next week so check the schedule. Whale watches start June 22 and our kayak rental shack is open 10am weather permitting. Stop in at Gaurons Luncheonette where Ute will feed you and dont forget the tackle shop before you get on the boat to buy jigs, ice and anything else you may need.
